Mere Abrams, LCSW

Mere Abrams is a consultant, coach, therapist, & licensed clinical social worker serving clients throughout California.

Mere received an undergraduate degree in Community-Based Research from Pitzer College and a Master’s in Social Work from the Smith College School for Social Work. Mere pulls from current research, professional guidelines, specialized training, and community knowledge in their education and support services.

Mere previously worked at the University of San Francisco, California, Child and Adolescent Gender Center as the Director of Community Engagement and Associate Director of Clinical Research, developing and managing programs sponsored by the San Francisco Department of Public Health and the National Institute of Health. Mere has partnered with Gender Spectrum, GLSEN, Advocates for Youth, Healthline Media, Frameline Media, Modern Fertility, and many other businesses organizations to increase understanding about gender diversity, develop resources, and provide direct support to queer, trans/transgender, and non-binary people.
